I had opportunity to work with design company Casson Mann on a module for Museum project they were working on for Blackpool and then had the chance to pitch my idea to one of the designers. As the museum was based in Blackpool this required a lot of research into the city to find an interesting narrative for my section of the exhibition. Based on fortune tellers called ‘The Ellis Family’ I looked into a range of interactive exhibition elements to make the design exciting and suitable for a range of ages, ensuring it informative but also fun and had a wow factor. The exhibition I designed gave visitors the chance to learn about the art of Phrenology, Palmistry, Graphology and Crystal Reading.
